Final outcome of my 7 months long research on bioplastic creation and behaviour. Biopolymer based on cabbage juice, agar and glycerine was created under the supervision of Emma van der Leest and Blue City foundation.
anthocyanin pigmentation of red cabbage is highly pH reactive which was a foundation of line of weather reactive garments. Thanks to pigment behaviour, garments can change their colour according to current pH levels in the atmosphere and, for example, rain.
