Form of hanger follows of the most characteristic feature - verticality. Focus only on that, allowed me to achieve a very minimalist and expressive solution.
The task consisted on connecting two materials, in my case solid wood and iron, and full use of their opportunities.
The base of the hanger are made of two neutral wood elements combined with cast iron, which by the that weight stabilises the structure, despite the lack of contact between two pieces of wood.
The project also allowed contact with craftsman, so I could explore their workshop.
